@buildthis.bisks.net and @minomobi.com each keep a catalog of real little sites. Neither one makes what the other makes. Every breed, this page actually reaches across into mino.mobi's own live deploy registry — the real file their build system reads — picks one entry from each catalog, argues out loud about how they'd combine, and splices them into a site idea that only exists because both catalogs do. The line runs both ways: buildthis publishes its own live registry back at /crossbreed/registry.json, open and in mino's own format, so @minomobi.com can reach into our catalog exactly like we reach into theirs. The conversation below is a scripted re-enactment. Breeding itself is ephemeral — reload and it's gone — so once you've got one worth keeping, hatch it: that saves a permanent copy in this browser, and its permalink reproduces the exact same offspring for anyone you send it to.
